On the occasion of the International Day of Child Cancer (15 February), the RTS broadcast an interview with Dr Fabienne GUMY PAUSE, pediatric haematologist-oncologist at HUG and researcher in the CANSEARCH laboratory, Long-term treatments and the creation of a follow-up program within the HUGs for young people cured of cancer.
CANSEARCH officially received the European Horizon 2020 grant in order to open the SIOPEL liver tumor research program in Switzerland (Hepatoblastoma, Hepatocarcinoma, clinical study CHILTERN-PHITT trial, SPOG as a national sponsor). Geneva is also the national IP of this study which is excellent for the management of oncological liver diseases in Switzerland.
Professeur Ansari had the honour to be invited to present his research on Busulfan in the context of acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. This is an immense privilege because the American Society of Hematology is recognised as a leading player in blood disease research. www.hematology.org see article
