Administration

The office of the CANSEARCH Foundation is composed of the General Secretary and a person in charge of Donors of the Foundation.

Patricia Legler, Secrétaire Générale

Patricia graduated as a Swiss attorney-at-law and has been active in the philanthropic sector for several years.

For more than twelve years she worked as a legal advisor for Geneva-based fiduciary companies in wealth structuring and estate planning.

She then set up the activities and managed the Fondation Zdenek et Michaela Bakala, a foundation active in education and human rights, as General Secretary.

As member of the Board of Trustees of various foundations and associations in the medical, economic and philanthropic sectors such as Fondation Dr Henri Dubois-Ferrière Dinu Lipatti, the Career Women’s Forum or Swissfoundations and entrusted with a mandate for the Fondation privée des Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève, Patricia Legler developed a broad knowledge of the Geneva and Swiss philanthropic and associative environment.

Further to obtaining the Bar Exam in Geneva, she completed her studies with a Trust Diploma from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and obtained a Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) in the Management of Non profit organisations from the University of Geneva, Faculty of Economics.
