Brain tumour project
This research project, integrated into the clinical work of Geneva University Hospitals, aims to treat children with brain tumors, the second most common cause of cancer in children. The aim of this project is to allow, through a multidisciplinary approach, a better quality in the care of children and adolescents suffering from this disease in Geneva and the Lemanic region. To this end, a clinical and preclinical research program began in 2016. As a first step, research will focus on high-grade gliomas (HGG) in children and adolescents. This disease still has a survival rate of 20% after 3 years.
